You need to turn the valve on half way. I have never been able to get a temptrol valve off without a handle puller ($8.95 at home depot). The rest of the symmons valve is the hard part after that Good luck! : I have a hot water leak when I turn the temptrol valve on. I poked a small hole in wall and can feel mist when I turn on water. Can I assume leak is from valve? I removed screw from handle but I can't get handle off. are there any tricks to getting this off?
