The faucet either has a bad washer or stem, and that is causing the vibration. Either repair it yourself or call a plumber to do it. : Turning on the hot water faucet in the bathroom sink causes a horrible knocking that disturbs the downstairs neighbor. The plumbing in this rental appears poorly installed.... : After reading some of the messages posted on the boards I was wondering if maybe the hot water line needs a Pressure Release Valve, and I was wondering where this would need to be installed (proximity to faucet or water heater or high point in pipe) and how hard they are to install.
