Turning it on? Or off?: Turning on the hot water faucet in the bathroom sink causes a horrible knocking that disturbs the downstairs neighbor. The plumbing in this rental appears poorly installed.... : After reading some of the messages posted on the boards I was wondering if maybe the hot water line needs a Pressure Release Valve, and I was wondering where this would need to be installed (proximity to faucet or water heater or high point in pipe) and how hard they are to install.
