|In response to Re: leaking faucets after new H/W heater installation|
Repair them, but replacing the water heater would not have caused any faucets to start leaking, much less cold water sillcocks.
: About a year or so back my dad replaced the hotwater heater. Since then every faucet has been dripping. The kitchen and bathroom faucets have had all their gaskets replaced, which has stopped them from dripping. The only problem left is with the sillcocks, they leak at an approximate rate of a gallon an hour. Luckilly for us we normally have these shut off (to not waste water), but turning them on and off is a temporary fix to a constant problem. What can I do to help fix them permenantly?
