You do not need a new water heater, any more than you need a new car if you get a flat tire. Just replace the valve. : my hot water heater has a steady drip out of the relief valve. i have tried opening it and shutting quickly but it still drips. i have a bucket under it but i would like to know if this is repairable or do i need a hot water tank. hope it is repairable.
