: I'm trying to remember how to remove a tub drain on a jacuzzi tub for cleaning. It's the type where you pull it up and twist to lock it up and vice-versa to let it down. Earlier, the builder managed to remove the drain/stopper w/ some channel locks by twisting something on the stopper. I think he let it go down and then used the channel locks to somehow twist the thing out at which point we found a screw blocking the drain. I can't remember how he did it though and don't wan to mess up the tub drain? Any suggestions? : Thanks! Hold the large stopper part of the drain with channel locks. Use another pair to loosen the nut or knob on the top. The screw is under that. |
