You can use no hub clamps which have a continuous steel body around the rubber gasket. The san tee should be roughed in between 6" and 18" above the floor. I cut out as much cast iron as possible (7') and replace with plastic. You do not need an additional vent for the washing machine trap arm which is wet vented by the sink drain. You will probably need to have the cast iron line cleaned for it to take the faster dump from a washing machine. This is usually a $150.00 to $250.00 not including the drain cleaning. Add another $150.00 for the water hookups.LonnythePlumber
