wet floor/ wet ceiling from toliet water supply

I replaced the water supply tube to the toliet a couple of days ago and tested for leaks and it was fine. As of today(2nd day) I was shocked to find that my ceiling had a major leak in the first floor between the kitchen and family room. The carpet and vinyl floor was soaking wet and the ceiling above it kept leaking like it was raining. I checked the hall bath upstairs and found a small leak and I noticed a puddle by the toliet but it was minor as compared to the first floor ceiling. This whole ordeal probably happenened overnight. There is probably significant water damage already in the sub floor. This is the 3rd toliet water supply that I replaced and had no problems with the other two baths. This house is only 8 years old. Why are there back to back problems with the plumbing especially with the water supply lines of the toliet? What do I need to do?
