This is something I should have dealt with a long time ago, but here goes...
Both of our bathrooms have Valley single handle faucets in the shower/bathtub that were installed when the house was built in 1995 (I bought it in '99). In both locations, the hot and cold are reversed from the way they should be (i.e hot when you first turn it on and progressively colder as you continue to turn the knob). Someone told me it may be possible to reverse something inside the faucets to correct this, but I can't find any information to confirm or deny this. Can this be done? If not, what can I do?
Also, this may or may not be related to what I've described, but there is a loud squealing sound when one of the faucets is turned on mostly cold (what would normally be hot). Any ideas about this?
I would appreciate any feedback anyone can provide.
