: We are on a well system for our house H2O. Recently the people who installed our softener/filtration system added an oxygenator to the input side of our pressure tank & switch to eliminate a "sulfur" smell in the hot water. Now the pump is going on & off every time we run the slightest amount of water. Is it possible too much air is collecting in the holding tank? Is the pressure switch going bad? I don't know if it's coincidence or a result of the oxygenator. Please help if you can. Thanks for the great web site. Rob; Drain the press. tank and check air psi. It should be approx. 2 psi below cut-in press.Add air if necessary. Also check the nipple to the switch for any debris, or crud build-up.Did this problem occur just after the "oxygenator was installed? What is the cut-in and the cut-out readings when this fast cycling occurs? Post the info and we will advise further Hube
