| In response to Re: Relocating Laundry | |

: We bought a new home with the laundry on the second floor in a clothes closet. The 'true' laundry space is directly below the closet - on the first floor in the mud room. How difficult is the relocation from the second floor to first floor going to be? Any books - directions/advice to give me would be appreciated. There is no exposed plumbing in the mud room only the typical mudroom laundry sink - I am assuming this will mean cutting out the dry wall. : Thanks -awright This is one of those things that you are not going to be able to know until you do open up the walls (plural--at both the old and the new locations). Since you are moving directly below the old location, this could be a fairly easy move. Unfortunately, it is something that will need to be looked at to properly evaluate. |
