|In response to Re: Water still coming out even after shutting off the hot water under the sink|
without knowing the exact valve you have, I cannot tell you if this is an easy DIY task or not.
: thanks for the quick response. Is this something I can do? What needs to de done and what part(s) do I needI'm somewhat handy and by no means a plumber. But if it's something any joe can do I'd rather do it than pay someone.
: : It is normal for old valves. It has to be replaced.
: : : I just bought a condo (rentevated apartment) and I'm remodeling the entire kitchen. I went under the sink to shut off the hot/cold and dishwasher lines. The valves were sooo tight to turn. With a coupld knocks of the hammer I was able to shut the cold off and the dishwasher line. The hot valve turns all the way, but water still continues to come out, there's not alot of pressure, but it's not dripping out either.
: : : Do I need to call a plumber?
