We are installing ceramic tile on cement for a basement bathroom. No toilet has been installed, though it is stubbed in and the top of the pipe is level with the cement floor.
What is the proper procedure for installing the tile and toilet? I have had trouble finding guidance on this subject. This is our first experience with laying ceramic tile and we want to be prepared.
Do we tile approximately up to the edge of the hole in the cement and then place the flange over the top of the tile and work from there?
Are there things we should watch out for, avoid or do to prepare?
Answers to these questions or a URL to guidance on this subject would be greatly appreciated
