What does he need to do????? : Love, : Liz Liz, These are made in two pieces--the little top knob will screw off, if you hold onto the larger drain piece with pliers. Sometimes the piece that screws into the drain gets pushed up and is hard to reattach, without taking the top knob off. I would think that it would be very hard to strip this out without using tools, they are usually pretty substantial threads. Deb The Pipewench
