Mike,
The Ultramax is a very good choice.
It attains performance partly by using a 3" flush valve, speeding things up quite a bit.
The trapway have a very good design also. Terry

: I am currently remodeling my master bathroom in my 70's era house. It has the original toilet which works better than most new ones probably because it uses quite a bit of water. Since my new toilet will no doubt be a 1.6 gal unit, I felt an assisted flush unit would be the best choice...however the Kohler unit ( we are considering) is very expensive but does include an electrically assisted flush. I noticed however that your website you recommend the Ultramax from Toto...will this work for my remodel? Is the ultramax an assisted flush?
