|In response to Re: White powdery stuff on outside foundation wall|
: I have a white powdery lines on my foundation on the North side of my house. The crawl space underneath the house is dry and there is no cracks on the walls. There is no water underneath and I have a vapor barrier on the floor. What could be the cause and how do I get rid of it?
Efflorescence results from brick or block getting wet, which leaves deposits of salts that are drawn out of the masonry as the moisture evaporates. Clean it and find the source of the moisture
