Possibly, if you use a heavy pipe joint compound, such as the blue colored one for use with gas piping. : I installed a new shower head and arm. At the arm, where the male and female are connected, I continue to see a slow drip - about 3 pin-sized beads per shower. I have wrapped the arm in tape and tightened the arm as far as it will go without overtightening. When removing the old arm, I noticed the female, copper pipe threads (the pipe in the wall) was slightly damaged. With such a small leak, is there an easy fix? : Thanks!
