In response to Re: cloudy(milky) hot water
: learning about reliance W/H dip tube problems ; I replaced tube and anode in tank (found anode loaded with white scale and down to half inch in size)thouroghly flushed tank and now two weeks later still getting heavely cloudy hot water when filling sinks ,tub, etc. the piping system does have mixed copper and galvanized. any ideas?

Does the "milky appearance "clear after standing several minutes? if so , this is caused by too much air, or too much pressure, or too high heat ( 125 is normal) Did you replace the DIP tube with the proper length.? If this is city water, check with neighbor and seeif they have similar problem. ( work being done on lines in area).. Hube
