| In response to Re: Slow tub drain in new remodel | |

: : I've just completed a remodel of my garage into a studio apartment. However, the tub drains very slow. The toliet and bathroom, and kitchen sink drain fine. I'm on septic. Any ideas on why it drains so slow? (before I rent a snake). This is a new line, so I think that its not clogged. : Check out the vent line from the tub it could be blocked. Check for improper tie-in (code) of venting from tub.. Hube I agree with the poor installation, inadequate grade, too long a trap arm, drain line dip, or venting. A clogged vent will keep a toilet from flushing. LonnythePlumber |
