My pipes rattle like thunder when no one is using any water. The noise comes once to four times a day and lasts about 30 seconds to a minute. Turning a tap on will stop the noise immediately. We've lived in the house for 6 months, and have only had the problem for about a month. We had an Aprilaire humidifier installed on our furnace around the same time the noise began. However, I have shut it off and the noise has continued. Your help could save a marriage! |
