In response to Re: Running toilet
: I recently had a freeze up for the line coming into my house. Since it has been thawed, my toilet is constantly running, and there is always a condensation build up on the tank. I've tried to adjust the screws to halt the flow aftering flushing, but with no success. Should I replace the ballcock assembly, or is there an easier alternative?

If the ballcock will not shut off when you manually lift the float, then you need to clear debris from the ballcock. If it does shut off it's usually your flapper on the flush valve.
Touch it. Is your finger black? Then replace it.
