This is a 1940's vintage home which has walls made from gypsum boards (3/4" thk). The tub was not recessed into the walls, thus I have the tub lip outside of the walls. This is the reson I am posing my question whether or not it is acceptable to have the surround between the wall and the bathtub lip or should I try to build my wall out? |
