HJ, Thanks, that clears up some things for me on info. I couldn't find anywhere. Wouldn't a cracked faucet leak more than I described so a simple tightening may stop the leak? Would I be able to bottom out the connection if it is cracked when I try to tighten in an attempt to stop the leak? I guess I am still wondering if it isn't out of the ordinary for this one of four connections to require an extra turn or two. Thanks again
