Copper is not harmful, but it can be harmed if you have agressive water. You do not want to repipe a house with PVC unless you are comfortable with the possibility of having a flood or redoing the job in the near future. : Should I replace cooper pipes with pvc. I understand that cooper can be harmful. If given the opportunity, should I replace with pvc.
