The drains are the same, but there are 3/8" and 5/16" rods. Some drains come with both so you can use the one you need. : On the subject of foot-lock bathtub drains. Are there different sizes of foot lock drains? I went to my local home improvement store and saw only one size. After returning home, I tried to put it in my tub only to find the threads on the foot lock were larger than the threads in the tub.
