: : We replaced a wall hung toilet tank with a modern one-piece toilet designed for a 12 inch rough-in. The modern toilet is out two inches too far from the wall. If we change to a modern toilet with a 14 inch outlet will it force to toilet tank back to the wall where we want it? : That should take care of the problem....but first measure out from the wall to where the floor flange bolts are,if you have 14" then you are good to go!! :-)
