The plumber tried a "motorized?" snake, but he was concerned about damaging the pipes, so tomorrow he's coming back with a hand held one - supposedly more gentle on the pipes. He also talked about a possibility of the clog happening under the toilet. Question: How could a vent problem prohibit the bathtub drain from draining?


It's like the straw in the pop thing, put a straw in your pop, then put your finger over the top of the straw and remove, the pop stays in the straw, ie a clogged vent
