That is not the reason. If no water comes out when either valve is turned on then the problem has to be in an area common to both faucets. In your case, that is probably the aerator on the end of the spout. Remove it and see if the water comes out.
: I recently installed a new faucet on a bathroom sink. The original faucet appeared to work fine but when I installed the new one, I used supply supply lines that were 20" long and looped them around once because I only had about a 9" drop (12" inch supply lines would have been kinked.) Anyways, there is no water flow whatsoever coming off the new faucet. The original faucet had metal supply lines that went straight (were custom made.) Apparently, the water pressure is too low on the new supply lines?
