Best Way to Testing New Copper Plumbing

Hi, I just completed running copper water lines into a
bathroom under construction and I'd like to test the
lines before I install the fixtures. Whats the best way to do this? I was going to put test caps on the
lines and turn the water on. Do I have to worry about
the air in the line? Thanks
