hello, i am currently building a second washroom for my house. Its location is in my basement, currently just a concrete pad. I've been informed that installing radiant flooring heat provides the highest comfort level. But upon looking into its installation i receive different opinions, my main quandry is, do i need to place a reflective material under the tubing to stop heat loss to the gravel below? Or as the saying goes, "heat rises". Your insight will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely cold footed Canadian
