: I am putting in a tile floor and the toliet flange is going to end up being approximately 1 inch below the finished floor. My flange is brass and looks like a clossial pain to remove. I've bought an extention kit consisting of 3 pvc rings and sealant. Will this work on a brass flange? Should I just use a thick wax ring or even 2 rings?

You can use more wax, or the Fluidmaster wax-free bowl gasket.
