| In response to Re: American Standard Smart Valve | |

I either change the Smart Valve to a Fluidmaster immediately or wait until it breaks, which is usually within a year. : Last year I installed an American Standard toilet with the Smartvalve valve. The valve is now malfunctioning in several ways (sometimes doesn't turn on after a flush for a few minutes, sometimes makes a hissing sound for days at a time). Wondering if I'd do better to junk it and install a more traditional valve. And if so, which? Thanks in advance.
