|In response to Re: galvanized plumbing in a concrete slab.|
I assume that the galvanized piping is in the attic, since I have only seen a couple of houses that had it under the slab. If so, or in any case, then the difficulty of replacement relates to how the new piping would be installed, not how the existing is placed.
: I am looking at buying a house in San Dimas, CA., located in Southern California. The house was built in 1964 and has galvanized plumbing. In addition, the house is on a concrete slab. Is there concern with the longevity of the piping and how difficult would it be to replace with copper? Thank you for your help.
