It cannot happen unless the spring and washer are in the wrong place, inserted improperly, or the seat popped out while you were putting the ball in. : Help! I replace the washers, springs, and ball valve in my single handle faucet. The hot water goes right thru the washer and spring with no abatement. Please help!
