: Should the greenboard installed around a tub being coverted to a shower reach the ceiling? Ihave 59 inch panels. Can I get by with saving the rest of wall. Have 14 inches or so of old wall remaining. Thanks

Leaving the 14" of wall board is fine.
It's much easier to leave it there.
Showers tend to have 72" panels, and tubs 60"
