Depending on the situation, you usually have to remove the tile up to a point about 3 feet above the floor and possibly from the wall adjacent to the tub apron.
: We need to replace our existing tub. We had most of the bathroom redone about 2-3 years ago-new tiles on walls and around tub, new toilet and new vanity/sink. We could not find a tub we liked as much as this one, so we had it refinished in white to match the new decor. We are not happy with the condition of the refinishing so are once again considering replacing the tub. We would like to know if this can be done without having to replace all of the newly installed tile.
