Hm. I just bought a Pegasus kitchen faucet but haven't installed it yet. What sold me was that on the box it said they were made in Italy (where they make Ferraris).

A little research yielded this information:
[ http://www.iapmo.org/prd/file_info.asp?file_no=3474 ] filed with the International Association of Plumbing & Machine Officials.
Looks to me like Pegasus also supplies faucets for Wolverine, Symmons, and Hico, and they have also been responsible for the Home Depot Glacier Bay line (which I have seen vilified).

My guess is Home Depot decided to import some of Pegasus' higher end faucets and that's what we're all suddenly seeing with the Pegasus name.

I'm willing to give it a shot. Mine was under $150 and looks just like a Grohe my brother recently paid over $400 for. By summer I should have a good idea of exactly how the two stack up.
