Why are you going through all of that trouble? If you do go ahead, you have to tile the entire tub over the concrete, because concrete is porous (it will soak water like a sponge.) If you want a heavy duty tub, look at the cast iron 'claw foot' tubs sold in many renovation catalogs. : -I want to build a concret bathtub i have alittle expereiance at concrete but have never built a mold : the floor is tile from the sink to the wall is 5`6 the other boundry is 4`7 and i want to fill the space completly so how do i build a corner out into the room : to connect the world? the walls are mede of overlaping cedar so i think i can use them as a outer wall mold : edge thing but how to keep the concrete from falling down inside mesh doesnt seem smooth enough but what do i know and can i set a decorative tile border? thanks Marie
