In response to Re: Lowering bath water pressure
: I moved to a relatively new house there is a single handle shower faucet in the bathroom. The water pressure in the bath is too much and I would like to lower the pressure. How can I do this? Please note that the faucet is a pressure balanced MOEN shower faucet. I would appreciate your assistance in this.

You can check for an adjustable pressure reducing valve on your main line coming into the house.Usually by turning the set screw counter-clockwise you will decrease the pressure. If you do not have one of these then maybe you can try removing the flow restrictor from the showerhead itself,it's designed to reduce the volume of flow to 2.5 g.p.m, when you decrease the volume you are increasing the pressure, just like putting your thumb over the end of a hose.
