: I have a bathroom on the first floor that experiences problems flushing most of the time. When flushed, the bowl doesn't empty the water and so many times, not even the toilet paper is removed. However; at times it will flush entirely. Sometimes it will work completely on the 3rd flush. This is not a low consumption toilet. All my vents are tied together and come out of the roof as one. The toilet in question is vented at the back of the elbow drain pipe below the toilet. Actually, all my toilets are vented from the drain pipe. I cut this vent pipe to see if would make a difference, but it did not. I am going to remodel this bathroom and am wondering if a Toto Drake toilet would help this problem or am I looking at major work to correct a venting problem. Thanks

I'm thinking it's a toilet problem.
The Toto Drake should work fine there.
