In response to Re: hj - toilet clogged with roots - another question
: Not likely since I have had the problem with drains that were cemented into the floor during construction. The roots are very persistent.

: : hj,

: : Do you think that sealing the toilet flange to the concrete floor would prevent the roots from entering the drain?

: : I've been thinking that after I flood the area with root killer and do a good clean-up that sealing the flange to the concrete would work.
: Just not sure what to seal with. Would it have to be flexible, like a silicone or can it be hard like epoxy?

: : What do you think?

: : Thanks,

Last question: Do you think the UltraSeal would prevent the roots from getting in? Should be better than the wax seal - I think.
