|In response to Re: swiveling spout|
: We recently replaced our glacier bay kitchen faucet with what we thought was basically the same model; however, the newer model has a spout that swivels (I can't figure out why anyone would want this feature). We are now unable to use the water filter that attaches to the spout since its weight causes the spout to swivel. Do you know of a fix for this or how we might be able to obtain a spout that doesn't swivel?
I would expect you can remove the swivel where it attaches to the arm, which would allow you to connect directly to the arm. Don't know about the Glacer Bay but on the Moens with a swivel, they can be completely removed. The swivels work great in allowing the water flow to be directed around the sink where it normally could not reach.
