I am building a workbench against the wall of my attached garage. Unfortunately, the floor drain in the concrete floor of the garage is precisely where I would be standing and walking in front of the work bench. Is there a product available that could cover the the floor drain - bring it up to level - support a 200 lb weight (me) - but still allow drainage through it into the floor drain? Preferably the "drain cover" would be made of a rubber or soft plastic material to allow "conformance" to the rough concrete floor. The floor drain area is about 3 ft in diameter and is about 2.5 inches deep at the centre. I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Please send any comments directly to my e-mail address. |
