: I plan to install several Toto toilets in our 5 year old home to replace the shoddy ones we have now. My question is pretty simple, w/o removing the old toilets how can I find out what "rough in" I need to order from Toto?

The "rough-in" measurement, is from the bolts to the back wall.
Most toilets have a 12" rough-in.
However, there is some space behind the toilet, meaning that there is some leeway to move the toilet back some if needed.
Some of the Toto can be installed at 11.25"
