Recently installed a new fill valve on my toilet, a Fluidmaster 400. It was fine at first but now is squirting water out from the top when filling the tank. I have taken the top off(rotating 1/8 counterclockwise) and everything looks fine. If I only turn the shutoff valve leading to the tank on a little it doesn't leak till the tank is full and full pressure is applied. I can see the top move up a little when full pressure is applied. Is the valve defective or is my pressure too high? Should I get a different brand valve? Any advice would be appreciated. |
