Thanks for the advice. I will swap the sinks. The wall is plaster, and I would rather leave it be. I should be able to find a similar style. Thanks for your wisdom.

: i have seen them open all the way in back from top to bottom, so exchange it for the easy out
: if you have to have that sink because of style then simply open the wall(save the drywall cutout for repair stage)extend the drain line where you need it, then close up the wall, spackle, prime and paint to match, if you catch the color pretty close(if your knowing the color or paint store custom match from sample) it should blend in good under the sink where it's out of line of vision
