No, but you do have to make sure it is a sealed basin with a gas tight lid and a vent. : I want to install a bathroom in my basement. I've got an ejector pit and pump near my floor drain. (And a separate sump for the exterior drain tile.) : I know I'm looking at some serious concrete busting to get pipes in place, but is it nuts to convert the ejector pit for my floor drain to a sewage ejector for the toilet, sink and shower? Do I have to worry about sewage backing up and coming out of the floor drain? : Thanks for any help! : -Tim
