: I was wondering what the best method for setting a Jacuzzi Tub is? I often hear Mortar but what if I have to pull the tub out for some reason? The tub will not be accessible on the back wall but will be on the other 3 sides via the front access panel. I am thinking if one of the PVC pipes in the back ever leaks, I may have to pull it up and out. It seems like Plaster may be easier to break away if I had to do this. Any advice is much appreciated.

Rob,
I have not had trouble pulling tubs up from a mortar bed.
However, someone posted on this forum that putting a thin bisqueen sheet of plastic over the mortar would be a help in the future. Sounds good to me.
