A little more:

I don't do "sewer" or what some call "main line" snaking in my business.

Years ago, when I worked for a company that did, I wore that pager on my belt and ran the weekend service truck. Everytime I got a main-line call I broke into a sweat.
On one job early on, I was learning to "cut" the roots, not quite "there" as far as knowledge and aquired tricks of the trade.
I ruined two $125 cables, wrapped them around my arm, the homeowner helped me get untangled.
I had broken the watch I was wearing on my wrist.
Relating the story to a coworker, he adding that on one of his jobs, he had his thumb pressed clear back to the arm, tearing his tendon.

I have been referring that type of work out.
I will use a small hand snake on washers, lavs, showers and tubs.
