It's a brand new pump. And just vibrates a little which causes other pipes to vibrate. I'll
get a couple of hangers and try to snug it up a
little better. I replaced the whole unit because I didn't want to fart around with just replacing the coupler. When I have time I'll replace
the coupler on the old unit and I'll have a backup. Thanks.

: Did you replace the "spring" coupler? A bad coupler is usually the cause for vibration, and does the pump have the same rotation direction as the old one?

: : I just replaced the pump on my hot water BB system and
: : it vibrates when it kicks on. It's the big red pump.
: : I know that most pumps have some vibration but this is
: : a bit much. This was a direct replacement. Would level have anthing to do with it. Or possibly not sequencing the tighting of the bolts? Thanks.
